Brian Byrne

 Brian joined Horizon Insurance in August of 1991. He has been married to April Byrne since 2001 and they have 3 children. As a proud resident of Clintonville, he served on the Clintonville Commission from 2006-2009. Along with golf, Brian enjoys camping with his family as much as possible. Brian purchased Horizon Insurance Services from Paul Straub in 2010 and will continue the high level of personal service and integrity that Horizon clients have come to expect since 1982.

Kathleen Hutton

 Kathleen, who recently joined our agency, brings with her over 20 years of experience in customer service and sales. Growing up in the Cleveland area moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. After graduation she decided to stay in Columbus where she married her husband Joe. They have four children and she enjoys spending time with them and being involved in their school and activities. “After being an insured of Horizon for over 15 years, I am very happy to have recently joined the agency. I have always understood the importance of being with an agency that knows who you are by name and is willing to help you as much as possible when the problems do arise.”

Paul V. Straub

 Paul was born and raised in Columbus. After graduating he taught school for five years before joining Horizon in 1982. He became President of the agency in 1988 and sold his interest in 2010. Paul has been the business insurance specialist for Horizon for the last fifteen years and continues to service the business needs of his Horizon clients. Nanette D. Straub

 Nanette (Nan) is a lifelong resident of Columbus. After graduating from University of Dayton and teaching elementary school for 8 years, Nan joined her husband Paul at Horizon as a licensed agent and office manager in 1988. Paul and Nan have three grown children who all graduated from Ohio University and live away from Columbus. Nan enjoys the long lasting and honest relationships she has developed with the Horizon clients and looks forward to helping them with their insurance needs. She really feels that Horizon’s service is what sets them apart.

Matthew K. Davis

 Matt Davis began his insurance career in 1999, after his graduation from Ohio University in Athens, OH. He has been selling insurance for over 10 years. Matt is dedicated to his work and is known for his caring attitude and excellent service.

Matt’s goal is to treat every client in such a memorable way that they tell someone else how great it was. He wants to wow you with his service, coverage, and price.

On a personal note, Matt and his wife Kim live in Powell, OH with their three children
